Jaeden Hamelly is proud to serve as Miss Connecticut USA 2026. A Connecticut native, U.S. Army Staff Sergeant, and Master of Social Work student, Jaeden has dedicated her life to serving others both in and out of uniform.

As a Combat Medic and healthcare professional, she has witnessed firsthand the importance of accessible mental health support. That experience inspired her advocacy platform, Beyond the Uniform – Mental Health Advocacy, which focuses on educating, empowering, and supporting service members as they navigate mental health challenges and access resources.

A survivor of domestic violence and a proud member of a family shaped by foster care, Jaeden’s journey has been defined by resilience, compassion, and perseverance. These experiences continue to fuel her passion for advocacy and her commitment to helping others feel seen, heard, and supported.

Currently pursuing her Master of Social Work degree, Jaeden combines her military experience with her passion for mental health awareness and victim advocacy. Outside of her professional and volunteer work, she loves traveling the world, tackling escape rooms, listening to true crime podcasts (Crime Junkie), and spending time with her wife, Gabrielle, and their Goldendoodle, Dani.

As Miss Connecticut USA, Jaeden is honored to represent the Constitution State and the Submarine Capital of the world on the national stage. She hopes to inspire others to lead with courage, authenticity, and purpose while encouraging them to live beyond the roles that define them.
